Corydoras Catfish - C Numbers

Corydoras catfish are very peaceful catfish that do very well in the community aquarium.
They prefer river sand as a substrate as gravel can harm their soft barbels and cause fungus issue's.
Corydoras come in a large range of colors, patterns & sizes, the 3 most common are shown in the video below.

Corydoras aeneus - Bronze Corydoras
Corydoras aeneus - Albino Corydoras
Corydoras paleatus - Peppered Corydoras

In the aquarium you need to make sure they get food and don't treat them as a scavenger, if you do they will not last long, they need a good diet.
Water conditions don't need to be overly fussed with..
pH - 6 - 7.2
GH - 50-100ppm
Temp - 22 - 27c
Some Corydoras will need cooler & warmer temps, they will be discussed in their own profile's.
