Yes the end of the year bbq was poorly attended by it's members but what turned up was PURER CLASS. The raffle went somethink like this First Dicky7 and Eileen, Second Dicky7 and Eileen, Third Stormfyre, thank god for small miracles and Fourth yes guess who Dicky7 and Eileen. After the conclusion of the raffle the rest of the members gave Dicky7 and his lucky charm a hand to load up their road train with prizes and off they went ginning from ear to ear, yelling out somethink along the lines of see ya later suckers.

I reckon we should have the picnic somewhere on or around the river... say up past Maylands...

and have a "Pearl Cichlid" - Geophagus brasiliensis catching contest.  :D

No doubt to do this, we'll need to seek authorisation from Fisheries, Swan River Trust, local shire, etc etc...

Removing the biggest examples we can find of this unwanted pest from the Swan River has gotta be a good thing B)

Nah I dont, but my parents do. Its a salt water pool, we could bring the Pearls and do some snorkeling.

Or we could then have a fish stuffing contest?

That's an awesome idea. PCS would get some positive exposure doing this too. I remember something in Forest Lakes in QLD being mentioned on Aquarium Life forum???? Will look for the thread.

Altone Park Golf Course Lake, then. Go right to the source. We can all take turns dragging the prawn net :P .

There are some mean geese at that lake. Here they are, trying to tell me about Scientology.
