I won $100 on the Stimulus comp (YAYY!!) and I want to buy something special for my tank.
The important stuff:
4ft/250L or so
8 Bristlenose (biggest is 8cm)
10 Rummy Nose
10 Neon Tetras
5 Zebra Danios
Do I still have room for any more fish? If so, what can I buy that won't eat my BN fry and the fish I currently have?
Thanks in advance

Clown loaches are so cute, but I've read that they're supposed to be kept in a school and I don't know if my tank is big enough for that many

i have up to 500+ b/n sizes 3cm-12cm in a 6x1.5x2 with a cannister filter and a powerhead... just requires 50% wc once a week.... and once a month an extra change....
you have plenty of space in your tank!!!

I would recommend almost anything ahead of clown loaches. They are jittery, flighty, aggro and get huge (30cm and fat) in the unlikely event that they don't die first. All they have going for them is they look nice and they kill snails. Also you should have them in groups of six or more ideally.
Rather put in a shoal of ten glass cats or ten kuhli loaches.

They may not be ideal for BN breeding, I'm not sure, however in a display community tank they are a must have!!!
They do get big but I find them quite slow growing.....
They are scrap food cleaners...
I don't find them aggressive, but they take no crap. I have kept them as tank mates with agressive mbuna and tiny Tetras... (In seperate tanks.)
They look great...
They are lively and interactive...
They are not picky eaters (but the other fish have to able to compete for food!)
I've had 1 die in 3 years. From whitespot when I very first started fish keeping! Whitespot will kill them in a real hurry! But other than that I don't find their water requirments to be above ordinary.
No display community tank is complete without at least 2!! (Not sure about having to keep 6!!!) My two happily duck and dart around and amuse each other all day long.
Viva la Clown.
