Nope.
Are they sold as FW or Brackish?
My understanding of them is that they're a genuinely brackish critter.

Not sure. Doesn't say brackish like most brackish fish when they sell them so presuming FW. They are mostly brackish, but I do know a couple of people who have kept them permanently in FW and been fine. Cool fish.

Wouldn't mind giving a few of them a crack. Is anyone else bringing any over?

Yeah, still a moody dude too. Seems a little less agro with less fish in the tank though

I bought a neo for my oddball tank.
It's been a challenge getting the right fish.
Now got bullrout, sleepy cod, Aussie bass and the Neo. Hopefully they go ok together long term.
I'm looking at moving house so I can keep a couple of bigger tanks... Which means hopefully I can keep Snappy.

Anyone got any idea on their growth rates? My 2x Hyrtlii are growing pretty slowly.
NVM, just read on Ausyfish. Pretty slow growing apparently. Was hoping for a fast grower.

Jacks are aggressive, keeping 50 alive takes a lot of resources compared to less aggressive fish. If one dies before you sell it, you're down $50.
These fish have a slightly higher demand than supply too.
Plus they have a reputation as being one of, if not the most brutal predators available.

they sound pretty cool the more I read /see natives the more I want to set up another big tankBecause the only commercial producer sells them for $50 each with a MOQ of 50.

Cod, jacks, Saratoga and Barra all available.
Neosilurus Ater and hyrtlii getting about.
Rainbows and blue eyes always available.
Sleepy cod, spangled perch, archers, red Scats, silver Scats and salmontails around too.
Bass, coal grunter and barred grunted were for sale not long ago so are definitely out there through private sales as well as snakehead gudgeons to a lesser extent, butis and Bullrout too.
