I agree I think some club member and the new up and coming members would love to get some rarer types in for there own collection. Including me.
Iv not been happy about the lack of tangs around and want to bring them back. When researching I was told by many people tangs were everywhere in wa but always shipped east now we struggling.

Is it about time we kept the stock in wa since new laws coming in ?

Yep I got 12 growing up waiting to pair off once they pair the kill the rest so hoping I catch it in time haha so much character

So sad news I either didn't match the water correctly or did too big of a water change and lost all the babies. :(.
Going to give the parents a little break and go back to the drawing board :(.

They look beautiful. What flavour of Discus are they Holmzy?
 
I personally don't keep discus but have several friends that do and they swear by Brightwell Aquatics DiscusCode.
 
I also use DiscusCode with RO water in all my South American setups and I believe it helps keep everything (adults and fry) happy and healthy.


They fire red stendker discus :).
I might go ro water since it seems easier to maintain water

So finally 3 times in community tank I moved them into a divided tank on the 4th attempt and with a towel over their tank they have wigglers.

Time will tell if they keep the baby's :) so happy.

I tired taking a pic away from the tank :$
The baby's go all around the pot.
