The link below is supplied as a resource for when you wish to design and build your own array. By inputing the required elements from your chosen LED the calculator will provide either a wiring diagram or schematic including the necessary resistors for you chosen input (either 12v or 24v).

Makes laying out your design idiot proof.

I spent ages trying to remember there formulas, then a couple of days after building my circuit you post this site... Typical!
Excellent site for those wanting to have a play with leds and not wanting to read up on circuit design.
A general rule I have always used for leds is 3.2v 30mA voltage and current.
