As we are getting closer to the auction I would like to bring up things that have been said many times before:

When booking your lots PLEASE do the following:
Use Scientific and common/trade names, Size and number of fish, Sex if known and a reserve if wanted.(no reserves under $20)

Why do we ask this?
There is many fish on the market that have the same or similar common/trade name (compressiceps)
Would it be Altolamprologus or Dimidiochromis ????
It's not hard nor very time consuming for the seller to lookup the name before booking the lots.
You only have to look up a couple of names, but imagine the time it would take the organiser of the auction if he or she had to look up everyone's lots!

Would also like to ask people to bag their fish correctly. If you can't or don't know how, please ask someone who does.
(Fish bagged incorrectly will not be accepted. No sandwich bags or ziplock bags allowed. There will be a $1 charge for the re-bagging of fish)

The committee are already flat out organising the auction on the night and would prefer not to have to fit re-bagging into the tight time frame.

Please remember the committee volunteer their time to run these nights for the members so a little help from the members goes along way :)

Hope to see you all there!

ofcourse there will most likely be some that need rebagging on the night.. is there somebody that would be willing to help the committee out with the rebagging if any lots that need it... this could take the pressure off the committee to free them up for the other million things they will be doing?

Great to see some perlmutts show up. Them and the nkali were hot hot hot a couple years ago but went cold very quickly. Anyone with mpanga and mbamba should put in a lot. I can guarantee there will be one keen bidder ;)

Along with all the cool fish coming to the auction, I will be organising some SENSATIONAL roast rolls & gravy in the kitchen as well as the usual cappuccino's, hot chocolates and cool drinks.

I have a new recipe for the roast as well........ :)

There will also be the AWESOME PCS Club merchandise available through the kitchen.

Will be great to see everyone there.
