Nice size, don't know that i would of done the glass in one piece thou. If there is any movement it's going to stress the glass, two pieces would of aloud for a bit of play. Good luck thou it's going to look good when finished.

yeah i was thinking about two pieces but, I'm confident it wont crack and it was the best glass i could get for nothing.

Alex: I will put at least one or two gold fish or koi just to keep the substrate clean.

id dump some perch and barra and big salmon tail cats in here......
dont know how heating etc may go though in the cooler months.
never the less, amazing build!! whats it cost you if you dont mind me asking?

About $500 - $600 so far. things like sand and about 70% of the cement I didn't have to pay for.

Sorry about the long delay in putting an update, but here it is.

 

The filter has only been running for about 2 weeks with media in it so the water is not very clear.

 

It also needs a larger pump to get the over turns happening a little faster.

Thanks guys. I don't know if you noticed but there are mirrors on side the middle pier and inside of the far wall on picture one. That was the old Mans idea and a really good one.

It is a sheet of double laminate 6mm so its 12mm thick
