Yesterday my house alarm went off randomly at 4pm my neighbors said.

Upon them having a sticky beak and me getting home, there appears to be no attempt to break in, so why may the alarms have gone off my mrs ask?

Maybe a small insect set it off crawling over the sensors inside - I don't know. But pondering more and more is it possible my fish may have set it off? One of the sensors faces my 7ft tank which has a couple good size rays and 4 x 35+cm pbass - lights come on at 3.30 in the arvo with a timer, I'm thinking the fish being as big and boisterous as they are may have set the alarm off, any thoughts on this?

doubt it mate

Check around and close to all your sensors for cobwebs and other nests that is usually 99% of false alarms ohhh... did you have an open wallet around ?? if so moths do it as well ;)

OK thanks Dicky, cleaned all the sensors that same night.....

As for my wallet, the moths had eaten that a while ago.
