I have a trio of tangerine peacocks that produce roughly 80% tangerine peacocks with a few stripey brown types that duely get fed to my Murray Cod after a bit of fattening!! (Don't get a chance to colour.)
I assume this is a similar thing.

There are actual recordings of crossing in nature and marble and dragon blood actually being present in small populations as a naturally occurring hybrid.
