If they were good breeders, I'd easily lay out $450 for you. (If I was happy with condition and correct name).

Got yourself a buyer there Tom ;)

The wild caught Kigoma which are roughly that size go for about $150-250 each. If buccal wants to pay wild caught price for your fish then I'd sell them to him without a second thought.

Prices are always a heated debate. Beauty and it's value are in the eye of the beholder. Tom has asked for opinions. We all have opinions.

In the interest of keeping the post on topic and avoiding further issues I have hidden a few posts. Don't take offense, stop digging - let's just move on.

IMO if your 7 bar Frontosa are very good quality, nice blue finnage and proven breeders with good fry then I would value them at $130-160 each in a store. Then as Mattia has said you never get full retail so I would think somewhere from 50-35% off that mark is a good value. That is what the fish are worth to me and what I have seen in stores, on forums and Facebook ads. There are plenty around nowadays.

Maybe add a picture for a better evaluation.

Good luck.
