hey just wondering how i would get my hands on a lionfish

are they available in perth at all & how much would they set me back?

heaps in perth, seen them at rocky reefs marine for $40 but expect to pay more. Price varies with size and variety

Hey mate

Vebas have a few species 99% of the time. AAA had some massive ones when I was in last too. Worthwhile checking with Seaview as they're close to you. Price will vary from ~$45 up to $100+ depending on species / size.

Saw some in Ocean Reefs Wangara today and also a variety of smaller specimens at Vebas so that's you covered South or North of the River! Make sure you have a read at www.wetwebmedia.com for hysbandry and compatible tankmates... Theres mouths get alot bigger than you would expect!

I was at AAA on the weekend, they have 2 adult Lions and they have also just recieved 2 smaller ones... great colours and very interesting to watch, worth travelling there to have a look. Speak to Paul or Sam they are very helpful...

should have some commin thursday for $30 - last lot was around 16cm bodies
