Synodontis Decorus In A Planted Tank?

I want to get a larger catfish that won't uproot plants
Anyone have experience with this?

They are Ok in planted tanks as long as there is sufficient gaps between plants for them to get around on the gravel at night. Larger plant species is preferred for this.
You also have to provide caves and rock hides or driftwood for them or they will move plants etc to create.
Be careful with these. i used to have them and they have some nasty serrated barbs on the spikes near feathering. They get stuck in nets etc.
The snag you will hit is they really hate light, even more so than most other Syno's. So planted tank with boat loads of light means they will hide away all day and only come out late when everything is down.
