Funny you should say that, we are going to be looking for a huge frangipani or dragon tree once we've built or new hose for the front landscaping.

I saw a video of a tree remover that simply comes in. Had 4 or three huge spades and pushed down around the base and connect under ground and lift the whole tree and roots. Then drives off to new spot, pushes in and releases. It would only work in relatively soft ground as i know from many years on a loader, ground doesnt just move out of the way this video shows

i didnt think people were planting Palm trees anymore  - they were popular , what back in the 70's and 80s?

I think they are such an eye sore

This gives me an idea.  Neighbor has three tall palm trees along the fence that are casting long shadow late in the afternoon over my solar panels.  I am going to take photos of their palm trees, put it on gumtree offering them for FREE. :P

The good thing with those two attractive robust types, is that it's not nessesary to go to, to much trouble retaining roots when transplanting.
The Frang Drag strike new roots easy with correct moisture levels in soil,, good time of year right now to.
Either seasol or better still, special root promotants every second day for first 2-3 weeks.
Dracaena draco's with insane bifurcated head number,, stunning specimens,,, I myself have though about getting one.
People wanting you to go to their house to dig it out on gumtree or whatever, usually Fremantle area is the best because real nice old ones,,,,, Some superb ones fetch some good prices,, years ago when I looked.

I know of someone having and seen it, a boab tree from up north,,,, it gets along but has short cycles and growth is super slow.

Dracenas are insane, we have several in large pots under the patio, and honestly every 6 months' they throw another head, gorgeous plant species.

There is a house in Baldivis near my mrs parents place that have a 2m Boab tree out the front, wasn't sure how theyd fair down here and even getting a hold of them

A lot of councils have it in by laws you can't plant palms.  A couple years after getting a date palm cut out from our place we still have seedings popping up from the grass.  The up side is if you did like a big ugly palm, you could say it has always been there.

I think it maybe a 6 x 2.5 x 2.5, the width and height don't quite look half the tank length
