But I'm guessing we still lose the first 60 fish of any species ordered...?

There have already been orders from Germany to Australia last month. Turned out OK. Prices a tad higher but to be expected.

Go have a look at the current crapfest over the latest German Import at Keysbourough Aquariums. A lot of good friendships just ended and there is an astronomical amount of money missing. Not a good picture and will make German Exporters think twice.

All over Facebook. Both sides are going at it and posting on Keysborough and other Tanganyikan sites.

Mike you gossip whore. Love it!

I was looking on Facebook, but the new Keysborough Aquariums Facebook page is a profile (not a page). I'm not keen to add a company as a Facebook Friend.

Not really gossip. It highlights the issues the Germans are having and things like this situation means they will be reluctant in the future given the cost and process to re-permit.

I read this last night. To me it looks like there are 3 sides to the story. There is the exporters version, the importers version, and then the truth.
To me it looks like there is fault from both sides... I also think this is likely due to cultural/language barriers too rather than any deliberate actions.
It looks to me that the exporter went into panic mode when payment wasn't received when expected too, which certainly hasn't helped...
However, I'm not laying blame on either party. Only the 2 parties know exactly what has/hasn't occurred.
I also agree with comments that it should never have been brought into social media, but he did explain why it was done...

Im in the middle of that one and the whole situation should never have been posted on facebook as facebook cant resolve any of the issues all it has done is make a fragile situation worse.

Species that where ordered and paid for arrived and where not the species ordered .

Doas have been paritilly refunded alot havnt.

Payment I beleive is now being paid in full ( i cant confirm this but I beleive it has happened )

Unless you have been directly affectted by this and understand the inner workings of the whole situation its best to keep all opions thought emotions to yourself as every incorrect post on this matter is fueling the situation and will jepardise any chace of getting this to work again.

regards thecheif

I beleive the comments have be removed to try and get the final outstanding issues resovled and hopfully the friendships affectted by this can be ammened , go forward and all learn from the mistakes made over this shipment.
