hey guys,

i was running an under gravel filter in my tank just outside the back door , it just didn't cut the mustard.
i love to try and trik things up. for example i have placed an additional power head at the outlet hose of
my malawi tank.... not much of a mod but it make a huge difference. what i have done out side in my other
tank ( which was always dirty from my overfeeding ) is removed the air stone from the undergravel tube
and attached a small tc 500 power head ( around $ 15 ) to the top of the tube with silicone (see photo below)
and now my water is crystal clear all the time ( and yes i am still over feeding in this tank ) . I do realise
many of you are probably allready onto this but for those of you who aren't .. well you are now
