The reason it is free is that it no longer holds water. The short(end) panel cracked and the repair job didn't work...more silicone and time will fix it I think.

Good thing is, if you have the time and work-space, that the rest of the tank is fine and 10mm all round...so 3 bases for new tanks or a couple of face glass' for tanks, etc.

You remove...you keep.
First in best dressed.
Get it before it annoys me and gets thrown away.

Geez Maz, after almost 2 weeks, I am sorry it didn't work out :\ but like Charlie said, cut the end panel out, remove ALL the silicone and replace it with a new panel and it will work like a charm :good

Yeah...I know what needs to be done guys. I just do not have the time, patience, strength, interest or the 'workspace' to take on the job. Trouble is I need the tank-space ASAP and it is this factor as much as anything that has forced my hand.
I have already ordered the replacement...so, that is that.

But I figured someone with little money and some youthfull exuberance might wanna have a bash at it...however, seeing as only you 2 replied I figure the youth are busy :) LMAO

It will be going when the new tank gets here, this week, so any1 who is interested...the clock is ticking.

I'm a youth with time and i can probably transport it too :p

Just 2 qs, how heavy does the thing weigh and how hard is it to repair? Is it simply a matter of puttin the silicone on and holding the glass in place?
