FS: stand suit pair of 6x2x2's

Stand for 6x2. Tall stand with good access (approx 30cm) to bottom 2’ high tank.
Only about 18 months old and in good condition but made from normal steel (ie not galvanised) and probably a good idea to give it a clean and repaint before stacking it with tanks. $sold.

This is stand...

Can you give me a price including the filters on the tank? You should know my email to discuss it (if you forgot, its hlokk[at]hotmail.com). Tell me if you'd rather me ring you or something though.

4x2x2 including 6' stand as above, plus 300w Via Aqua heater (bought end of last winter), plus 4' Dalbarb light (single), and Otto (800lph) internal filter and brand new (still in box) Eheim 2217 canister filter (with media, taps etc) - all this would cost around $1200 retail
selling for $650
empty and ready to go...

everybody wanted an empty 4x2x2 when it was full of fish, now it is empty they have all disappeared? 8o

will consider swapping 6x2 stand for a 4x2 stand (metal or timber, with w/o hood)

Is the 6' stand capable of holding 2 3' tanks side by side?

hmmmmmm
the frame is divided into thirds, ie there is a horizontal beam every 2' - one at each end and two in between. make sense?

so 3' tank would be supported at the end and then in 2' and the other end would only be supported on the front and back (assuming it is a 3x2).
if you put a baseboard over the frame, say some marine ply or chipboard, then the weight would be distributed more evenly

clear as mud?

anything for a *bump*:lol
I got some from Bunnings - at least I call it marine ply, it is that laminated stuff, quite strong. Altho you can get very strong chipboard too, like flooring grade or whatever they call it.
