Do you want a nice new catfish ?

I've seen this one in a shop around here, not sure if it's 100% legal so ask fisheries if you want :P

Haha seriously what kind of fish are you after? Just oddball? You are into natives right? Do you have a big tank? Would you like an Australian lungfish!!??

I am keeping an eye out for different plants. I'm also determined NOT to change my fish for a while. Drives the Mrs nuts when I decide to change things. What size tank do you have for the "next project" MM?

Would love lungy but Wifey would do bad things if I spent that kind of money on a fish. $1,800 including shipping when I enquired about a year ago.

Been seriously thinking about it.

Plan is to buy whatever suits the fish I want.
I want to do something for the aquascape comp but I'm short on inspiration. Sucks because last year I just had a quirky idea and went with it and it went great.
Though apparently not great enough :-/ ......

I'm punching out hybrids that has a pigmy gene involved because my male stud for that breed group is a pigmy Mantilla with inverted color patterns (light areas where dark areas should be and vice-versa).
I'm not going to be to strict on myself saying hybrid because this forum is a Cichlid and fish forum, so the odd mention of hybrid rays should be fine,, as it is completely excepted on ACE and even the mods posted my pics up for me.

My three way hybrids go though constant morphing,,, color and patterns continually evolving and changing and sometimes very drastic changes within a week.
This makes keeping them for filling, exciting and obsessive even. (Always changing).

6x3 footprint minimum for one male
7x3 or 6x4 should squeeze a pair if they're not big gene specimens.

If your interested in knowing more about ease of keeping and requirements, let me know.......
I also know the best foods that just happen to be some of the cheapest foods around.

Nothing like buying your little pup and watching him grow and morph.
You won't need to look for the next best thing because you'd already have it lol... :)

Native wise; Bullrout, Butis Butis, Eels. Maybe even freshwater Blackfish and Targetfish. If your thinking about exotics, checkout birchirs  :)

I saw the livefish ones today but would rather buy them locally. Might be doing a mission to Pet Magic.
Minds still not made up though.

Whats the starting price for rays?

$400 - $1200.
So $400 ones look very similar to motoro but brighter,,, and rest are all the infinite combo appearances of Leo, triplespot moto and mantilla.
So anywhere between $600-$800 I can do you a nice higher end one that will morph a lot and keep you satisfied with its ever changing appearance with new patterns emerging and changing.

All you have to do is take advantage of some poor bugger desperate to sell his big tank.
If you take the plunge,, I'm always available by text phone if you need advice with endless help.

27'c 8kh. Bio and mech filtration systems seperate to each other, so mech doesn't ever restrict the bio. (These basics will see a thriving puppy)...... :)

not good at getting pics up, I'm a for real noob,,, but I'll have a play around on weekend,,,,,,
If mods dont want hybrid ray pics on Pcs,,,,, please chime in now,,, I won't argue with a no and let it rest...... So no stress.
