i work for the Water Corporation as a trainee currently at Mundaring Weir, so i contribute to the water testing and maintenence of the grounds. there is to much stuff at the dam to list.lol our dam supplies water from here to Kalgoorlie and everywhere in between

Muzzy, you should ask work to put you through the Coxswain Restricted if you're operating a boat. Work pays for it, 4 days off work, and qualifiaction good for 5 years. Win win!

I did cert II and diploma in aquaculture in 97/98 and by the sounds of it not much has changed!

Although i recently did mature aged degree in fisheries management and landed a friggen awesome job for the gov (not fisheries dept). Diving one day, dropping instruments off the back o the boat the next all up and down the coast!

So it does happen and there are good jobs around, just don't pigeon hole yourselves
