Hi All,

I was wondering has anyone ever heard of a guppy / gambusia hybrid?

Do these exist or could it be done ?

Cheers
Dave

Google search reveals this

However it is more likely the gambusia will kill off the guppy.

If they are only feeders why does it matter?

Just curious ! Hopefully Ill get some cool looking coloured ones ! maybe create a new strain!!!

It'll be interesting to see breeding / growth rate of any hybrids, I want to start applying abit of science to it !!!

Have you heard of platy / mollie X Gambusia ?

Cheers
Dave

The PCS does not condone intentional hybridisation or the husbandry of noxious fish eg : gambusia
