The old time favourite, Clown Loach.

Followed by Pimelodus pictus which I have always wanted .

Tropheus species for their character.

Most Synodontis, of which I now have 4 species.

id thought i get this thread going again, seems to be a good topic to me

id say my 2 fave fish would be my

1) giant gourami-tough nut and is a greedy mofo that can with stand a beating from my saratoga

2)rtc, purely for the same reason and thier insane growth rate

1 hoplo catfish - first catfish i ever bought before i knew anything about fish.

2 dovii - the new love of my life lol. very aggresive and has so much personality, it's literally like a pet

so many more... so unfair to limit it to 2!!!!!

Am just back into the game again(starting all over) but had over 30 tanks at one stage.
But of all the fish i have kept the best 2 would be..
My silver dollar looking thing with big teeth wink.gif
And my jag.
mind you there are about 20 others that id sell my left foot to have again, lol

hate to post twice but after tuesdays events.. it was DEFINATELY a privelage to own this guy who on the weekend for the first time rubbed against my hand over and over like a cat does agains peoples legs....

the fish i had the privelage to own were

1) My rtc...jst got him but damn he sure has a personality and a big appetite!!!

2) My silver arowana....Ive watched this guy grow fomr around 14cm and he is a beauty!!!

Yep rtc's are nice...

i never bothered to get one due to their expensive predatory habits... laugh.gif

any fish that is capable of swallowing a heater or large ornaments, quite frankly, scares the begeezus out of me...( and my fish...hehe ) LoL laugh.gif laugh.gif

1. My oscars. They've got their own personility, I love them. Second fish I ever owned after b/n.

2. My butterfly fish named Jaws. He just looked mean, and hand feeding was fun.


I haven't ever owned one but one of my favourites is the GG. They blow bubbles at you and you can hand feed them. They have a lot of character.

Going back to the early days of fish keeping I'd have to pay tribute to-

1) Oscars definitely a cool fish and are what got me into predatory fish. biggrin.gif
2) My first murray cod he grew into a monster that would take down whole mulies. blink.gif
