Hey guys when replying please use the reply button not the quote button it is pointless quoting the post directly above and it clogs the page. Cheers.

They are so slow to grow! And ur right. The fry are quick to give up on life it seems
I took some shots of developing egg and just hatched fry, as well as some 1 cm babies. Even as babies they like to group together. Taken with my iPad so not sure about the quality of the photos
None of mine are taking frozen food yet. OTL.

3cm? Stacey? It's so cute X)

first lot only one >_> - not much bigger than the rest since i couldn't make bbs. Now i can grow bbs so the 2nd lot are doing much better =]

i find that they actually "swim/float" almost vertically around the tank like they're hoping to run into food when it gets really dark. (u can see them with a dim light source - too much light would scare them into going back down again)

Yep i find they all chill out during the day sitting on the bottom and at night float around... my bigger one actually looks like he is swimming not floating though!

How big is the first one of yours?

I think the babies were born in nov/dec or around there I have lost the dates phone wiped them so recording the dates on the tank now so i can keep track time seems to have all blended together lately. There were a few spawns so not sure exactly. Four babies are around 2cm and 2 at 1cm

Stacey you can probably grow Anka out a female before he finds one for sale!

I finally found one smile.gif

Paying an absolute premium but I hear she is a superb specimen. Currently researching a bit on breeding bichirs and I'll be buying a 2x2x2 to raise the fry (if I get any!).
