Welcome to the party Bostave. Looking forward to more photos of your tank. I'm sure you'll give Rovik a good run for his money

Thanks Jason. Wish you all the best too. I like your journal idea. I will set up a biotope once I get some decent driftwood. It will be a South American biotope.

Yeah I was going to do South American. Low light with tannin water, skinny branches of wood, and plenty of leaf litter............. maybe I should have gone South American?

If you do a biotope entry as well as the aquascape entry that would be cool

Austudy is $433.20 per fortnight.... you don't wish you had 6 weeks off. That's less than what a pensioner gets from the Government

Even more exciting, I got 2 JUVENILE Neosilurus Hyrtlii! Were a little too small to go in the big tank so they're currently chilling in another tank. Hoping to get them in the biotope tank soon  :)

Does that seem wise given your N. ater appears to hate other Neosilurus?

I did think about that, but as the the other Neosilurus he killed was the same size, as well as the previous owners Leichardti, I'm hoping it was just a size thing. He doesn't mind the other fish in the tank so I'm hoping that's because they're small too. Cross the bridge with the Sleepies size when I get to it
