In the process of selecting a canister filter for my heavily stocked Malawi 200 litre tank, I have came across the eheim ecco 300 which I thought was decent and was considering buying it. Have any other members used this filter ??
Also can u guys suggest any other filters in the same price range ??
Cheers elliot

If you plan on keeping all those fish in that tank in the long run your going to need alot of filtration

Eventually I will be thinning down the fish to only have one male per species and the rest females

I Wouldn't call that amount of fish heavily stocked. What are the tank measurements.

I would agree, that not heavily stocked especially with the occupants. I dont know about that filter, however I have had ehiem 2217's on my tanks for years without any issues, and they have been heavily stocked. Ăbout 70 fish in 6x2x2...
