I looked up that online store you posted, very cool and reasonably priced so I ordered a bullrout for myself. Much bigger than the live fish ones too. Cheers.

Tempted to get one too but it'll just end up eating all its tankmates haha.

It says $25 for postage. Nothing I saw about quarantine fees but live fish have never charged me for that either. I'll wait and see what happens

OK Folks, I have 4 Sooty's to pick up tomorrow. I dont really have tank space to hold on to the little buggers.

Leichardti - You still want one?

Stretch - can you pick up from Cockburn Central tomorrow?

That should leave one unaccounted for if anyone wants it.

Figures... Im sure we could talk them into sending a box over if we offered to pay postage, organise quarantine, pick up from the airport and could come up with a worthwhile shopping list.

I'd take:

2 X Snakeheads

1 X 10cm Bullrout.

I ordered a bullrout from that website. I spoke to her today after I saw you guys mention that they don't ship to Perth. She said she can ship but the risks of doa are much higher due to the extra day in transport. I'll let you know what happens next. Their guarantee is not as good as livefish. I can pick up that sooty mm85 but not till late. Have my sons footy training. Is Friday better?

I'm having a late night tomorrow. Tomorrow would definitely be better for the fish... Odds are they will bash the smeg out of each other.

If the fish are small I doubt there will be any problems. I recently got two shipments from Livefish and one from Aquagreen, Over 40 fish in total and only one DOA and I reckon it was a dud fish anyway. Both shipments were at least two days from packaging to acclimatisation.

To my knowledge both of those companies send the fish as a regular package to save money and also will drop them to your door. Livefish use star track and aquagreen use toll priority (who buggered up my address and were rough as guts with the package).

If she knows what she is doing when it comes to bagging and correct shipping container/packaging then it shouldn't be an issue.

you guys always make me want an Australian odd ball tank and Katies Aquariums sounds like they have access to some good ausie fish. Looking forward to seeing how this one goes!

Spoke to Katie from Katie's aquariums again today. Says she'd be more than happy to send a big order for you guys. Even seemed excited about the business.

That's not going to be good for the wallet

Picked up the sooty's today. Nice little fish. Great condition. 3-4cm one left if someone wants it $20.

Bought some Cape Arnhem trifasciatas and an archer too. Cant wait for the rainbows to colour up.

Anyone keeping rainbows?
