UPDATE March 2018 - please contact Delapool as he is now handling memberships.

Hi all

I've taken on the task of handling new PCS Club Memberships and renewals.

If you have any queries about membership please direct them to me (in particular anyone still waiting on their PCS member card)

Anyone making payments via Direct Debit give me a heads up.

Info on membership costs & becoming a member can be found here - http://www.perthcich...showtopic=29129

Dazza I should have just given you some cash when you grabbed your fish so I cam be a club member but is there any chance of maybe setting it up so people can register and pay membership at the sponsors shop would probably make alot more people sign up as they are at the lfs anyway

Hi Thal

The consensus at present is for sponsors not to sign people up. Tracking payments for memberships in the main issue and also the delays caused by having extra people in the loop.

If the sponsors can spare the time we're more than happy for them to print and pass on an application form or refer people to the website.

Here are the 4 methods currently available -

1. PayPal
2. Cheque or Money Order - You will need Adobe Acrobat, which is free, in order to view and print the form, then simply send it back to us along with a cheque or money order.
3. Direct Deposit
4. In Person (at a meeting and/or to a committee member)

See the membership page for more detailed info - http://www.perthcich...hip/index.phtml

Cheers,
Daz

Hey Ray

No Bpay option available. I'm not aware of the costs but I imagine it would be a lot dearer than say PayPal.

For PayPal Click the 'Membership' button at the top of the forum or use this link - http://www.perthcich...showtopic=29129. Then click the PayPal button.

I love the new design of the membership cards, I have been meaning to mention it for a few months now.

Can you tell me what the expectations / requirements are of PCS members? e.g. do they need to attend a certain amount of meetings or anything like that as I am considering membership i would like to know what i am getting myself in for.

Apart from the membership fee there are no requirements. Meetings are held for the benefit of our members, so they can learn about the hobby and socialise with other members. You do not have to attend, it's a service we provide smile.gif

Hey Changy

If you scan and PM me a copy of your student ID card (showing expiry date) then you can get concession rates.

Hey Anka

Cards are about a week a away. They get done in batches of at least 10-20 a time.

If you're hanging out to get your sponsor discount you can print your PayPal receipt and use that as proof for the time being.

Cheers,
Daz
