Hah! I wish he was a little sook. He is one big bundle of excitement. Good puppy at home but his brains fall out his head when he sees another dog or new people.

awesome!!
my mate had a DDB (not even going to try to spell it), coolest dog ever!!
what do puppies go for roughly with this breed? (i know they are an expensive dog, but its worth it)

cheers for the comments. they are pretty cute but so demanding. the pups go for $2500 each and most certainly worth every penny. we paid that for leah the mum and $3500 for tonka the dad.

i think the common name is easier to spell than Dogue de Bordeaux

french mastiff......

my missus sister has a french mastiff cross... nice dog but is high maintenence... had 7 cancers cut out - basically one for every year of his life... and is in need of a psyciatrist !!! i imagine if you'd care for your dog as well as your kids they'd be an absolute pleasure to own... smile.gif

Congrats on the DDB pups! My friend has a DDB, he's up for an op for Hip Dysplasia so just as well she had health insurance.

Here are my two.
Rolf the great dane, adopted him on his second birthday in May this year.

and Ella, 10 1/2 yo kelpie x have had since a crazy pup.

The two of them together about a week after Rolf came to live with us - firm friends! smile.gif
