A large growing species that can get to approximately 30cm.
They can be aggressive toward each other and mouth fight hence the name "Kissing"
They will eat small fish like Tetra's etc, large specimens do well with American cichlids or large catfish as long as the Gourami is larger than the Cichlid.
pH - 7 - 8.0
GH - 100 - 250ppm
Temp - 22 - 28c

Ask the LFS how long they have been in the shop and ask to see them eating. I have seen many times PKG's suffer in the first few days at the LFS from whitespot, they sometimes will refuse to eat as well. If this happens, try some steamed Zucchini or Carrot. They like to graze on algae in the aquarium, and will destroy plants.
There is a Green variant that unfortunately isn't available very often.
