i get 6 months out of a glob i never turn mine off when it comes to new globe time i just give it a flush with the hose if you dont turn them off algee shouldnt build up on them

I clean my cannisters probably every 6 months or so.

no blue light coming from it any more or is yours a built in to a filter ?

if they are set up like this



you can see some light comming out of them at night when every thing is dark and they have a veiwing window aswell

or if its a built in to a canister you have to opean the filter to see if its still working but dont look into the light it will fry your eyes

Now dont take the P** but just had a look at the UV.

its in the cab under the tank shut te door on me head sh*t no light .

Guess What the old Bird (my belovied wife) had not turned the swicth on 8O

So i just got anouther days use out of the globe for FREE laugh.gif laugh.gif

Unscrewd the end cap to find the globe is blown :cry:
