Re: Bigz

have yours breed yet?

Cheers

They bred once when they were slightly smaller. They always appear like they are going to breed again but no luck. Think my dovii is going to be the complete opposite of yours Blakey lol.

ahaha seriously my cat would walk past the tank and he would ram so hard in to the front panel of the glass i worried about the front 6ft panel giving way... at that size he was a few kg's very solid fish... i think i sized him at 16" when i sold him to vebas... all beit back then for $40 credit... and then they had him up for $120 the next day..
he used to eat axelotles... 6 inch goldfish.... huge marron.... was an awsome fish but he just out grew the tank and got far too aggresive to the point where nothing could go near the tank with him break lids... or just hurting him self on the tank. he broke 5 heater.. 2 of them where in the plastic housings and i got a huge 30cm salmon tail catfish for a tank mate which was kileld in half an hour.

biggest scare was when i was using the piece of glass to partition the tank he got past and bit me i freaked out has a HUGE bite mark in my hand bleeding... he actually sliced himself open on the glass getting past.... didnt stop him for one bit... and he heeled up in a few days.

mental mental fish

there is no doubt you could train him to be an aggresive fish but there is no point... as long as he doesnt like swim away and hide when you walk near the tank i wouldnt bother.

Actually he does. Female doesn't though. Don't get me wrong I'm not really bothered just surprised, when you always hear about their aggressive nature.
