*EDIT*

Ok ok took some photos today...

The fish is roughly 30cm long now... and growing very very fast!!!

He eats about half a kilo of prawns every 3-4 weeks and half a kilo of whitebait... but mainly prawns.. atm the prawns are king prawns yum yum ahaha some of them are about 15cm long and he takes em down with ease.
One thing i have noticed lately more than anything is his behaviour... he is very territorial and EXTREMELY FAST.... do not put fingers in the tank.... i will put my whole hand in but he is big enough now to start eyeing it off as a bit of a snack so only too soon with i be posting a photo of a bloodied hand.

This fish is a machine... if anyone wants to come around some time and have a look let me know and your more than welcome. He has gone from having a price tag to beeen absolutely priceless and i reckon this fish will be around for a very very long time.
The topic of tough fish often comes up on these forums... i reckon this bloke lays down the gauntlet, his agility and the set of teeth he has i reckon a dovvii would be no match for this guy now he has a bit of girth on him.

I've caught (and eaten), a lot of Jacks but have never seen any with that blue line under the eye. I must have a closer look next time I catch one.
