Hi,

Anyone seen any developments in heater technology? Same old sticks in the back of the tank has been around for ever. What's available in heating within the filter? or are there any other formats for in-tank filtration? I'm new on here and dun know who everyone is unsure.gif , but been 2 yr shop a zillion times. Matt

Hey Matt,

You can get Inline heaters which run externally on the outlet of your filter or pump, these are perfect because if on the rare instance something goes wrong it wont affect the use of your filter. Thats the main reason most filters do not incorporate heaters, if one things goes wrong then you are without both until it gets repaired wink.gif

Eheim produce a large canister filter with a heater in built, its the Pro3 2180. Retails for approx $1400 though......great for a large tank!

We have the inline heaters on display on our 8foot tank......feel free to ask myself or another staff member for a demo smile.gif

Cheers
Krystal
