hi, cobalt blue in my 6foot tank started showing two shades of blue. There is no sudden change to the environment, I cannot see any stress it swims around easy & happily.

Please advise if this is normal? Thanks in advance.

Hi

I have always known this change in colour like this to be nerve damage effecting the chromatophores in the fish. What causes the nerve damage? Not sure.

I had seen this happen to C. moori infrequently, never a Cobalt. No real cause for concern, sometimes it will go back to normal colour sometimes it won't.
