All good. Don't mind a bit of healthy debate. What's the diff? I thought river and washed sand were the same colour. In any case, my sand is neither: Whitfords beach :P

A couple of pics 6 weeks in. All healthy and growing well. So hard to get decent photos though. fc07bd786ecd72912e8a8b8db889eb96.jpg0e3c9c08ce34110ef7fd4e380a74b921.jpgf15d16b9214a0dde738c71388590ce0f.jpg6a19c2a8b7b80f2f46861220b29ae3f7.jpg21fc7cf44166434a2dc21810792e8fe8.jpg92870f18856e282362a0f99f8a1cc43e.jpgdbbd6fc97f39eb9690c814c1d7f63876.jpg2d1047e7d011b18220b0dd1b97ab91dd.jpg

Loving the succession of algae on the rocks. Green to orange/brown (and in a few weeks time; to dark green). A series of photos showing what's happened in just 8 weeks. bec9e6b8da8ce5116065e12428f8cdb4.jpgcbd5bdf78c8e003c86620f9e014100e5.jpg4549d93e25a64b8d22ac8eb12130eaa9.jpgf60b442a63463c0008bd093aaf038556.jpg3d9a5cb2958d2f814a3bb8437716cb74.jpg571e106ab76ca0576281a02905d34fbb.jpg220552c6bed6d95e0bce5c40a86d4122.jpg20625569270bc584685019c34357474f.jpg

Fish went in today. 16 red rainbows: 4 large (4-5cm) and 12 smallish (3cm) in an attempt to skew the sex ratio. Absolutely thriving. Coloured up immediately and amazingly enough, some even started courting. 2u7u3yvy.jpgsu3y2a2u.jpgjasa4u6u.jpg

Embarking on a new project. Have just completed stripping out my 4×2×2 planted tank and will over the next few days convert to a limestone reef set up. 7a4ejute.jpg

I've also placed an order for 15 × 4cm Tropheus Red Rainbow F1s. unyte8ar.jpg

First question. Limestone reef on white sand or black sand? What do you think? I tend to think that white limestone on 'retina burning' white sand can be a bit too much.... More pics to follow over next few days.
