could be mosquito larvae, they usually breed in still water, some people even use them as food for fishes

Definitely mosquito larvae Matty, I had the tub of wood out the back, in 2 weeks it was full of em!!! It's a shame my fish are vege eaters otherwise they do make ok food. Goldfish seem to love em too!

thats top quality fish food right there! I leave containers of still water around the house to fund the food for the fishes.
