I'm trying to find a coarse holed sponge that is about 150mm X 150mm square by at least 700mm long.  Ideally in Black.  It is to be used as a pre filter.  I have tried a Clark's Rubber as well as Vebas with no luck.

Does anyone have any clues where else I could try?

Something like the attached image - but in 150x150x700 size.

Could modify two of those into one?

Or this:

Thank you!  I could make one of these work - if someone can give me an idea on how to stick 2 of them together (end to end).  What glue is safe to use?  Is Contact Adhesive OK?  Or should I sew them together?  As I need them to be 700mm long in one piece.  The inner pipe fitting is not required as I will be cutting the foam down the middle to form 2x triangles

The only adhesive I would use for this is aquarium-safe silicone.

What about the adhesive reefers use to secure frags to live rock?
