For o'rings in Blacktown area try CBC bearings or Norman Richards Seals at Smithfield
just take your sample and they can measure it up should cost cents as opposed to dollars
looks like it has just gone hard and flattened
a light smear of lubricant when assembling is recommended I prefer a water based lube
like Wet Stuff with filter o'rings but Vaso will do
do you still have the warranty & parts breakdown that should have come with the filter as this
would have contact details for the Aust distributor
Hmmmmm just found Petras are the distributor, very ordinary product support and custome service
not to even quote a P/N and the closest local LFS to use ............. very poor
Doc I'm sure we don't have a monopoly on less than ordinary service by LFS and there are some
LFS over there that are off the pulse too
Doc what does the o'ring measure up at ? ID & section width

Yes I am sure every state has their good and bad. Due to economic troubles in the last year, I would have expected the smaller LFS to try a bit harder to win the wallets of the locals.... does not seem the case, and I have heard of quite a number of shops on both sides of Aust that have closed down... Well I'm still here and I am still kicking - I dont lay down, I just try harder.
I have to measure up the Orings we have in stock as replacements (I dont trust the original Orings - and yes, the backup from the importer is not the best) I have had to source better quality Orings from a local seal mob too, and since the original size is a bit non-standard, I had to take a smaller Oring with a slightly larger cross section so when its stretched over, it is a perfect seal... I have never had a repaired one come back - they last waaaayyyy longer than the originals.
I will measure it up tomorrow at work and let you know.

I charge less than that to replace it - parts and labour.
