Hi all,

The March meeting will be an auction..... This will be our Saturday trial auction on the 5th of March and in preparation I would like to start taking bookings for lots.

The doors will open at 5pm to start processing lots and the auction will start at 6.30.
There is a possibility of a sausage sizzle (still to be confirmed) and drinks will also be available as per our normal meetings.

PM me or post here and make sure to include the following:
Name - common and scientific, size, number, sex where possible and a reserve if wanted.

* If you Pre book your lots pls be sure to bring exactly what you booked in as it is very time consuming to change the auction list on the night.
* Doors will open at 5pm, please come early with lots so they can be processed before 6.30pm.
* Lots (selling) are only open to Club Members but you can become one on the night. Anyone can bid / buy. General Public are welcome to attend.
* If you have a picture of the actual fish you would like to use for the slide, send it to me with the lot details and I'll have it up when your lot is up for auction.
* Lots will be accepted on the night but would prefer to have them pre-booked before hand so everything runs smoother.
* There is a limit of lots that are brought and booked in on the night which is now 5 per person, hence pre-bookings are encouraged. There is no limit on the number of lots that are pre-booked.
* Fish bagged incorrectly will not be accepted. No sandwich bags or ziplock bags allowed. There will be a $1 charge for the re-bagging of fish
* The pcs takes a 10% commission on all sales at the auction.

Please familiarize yourself with the full Auction by-laws here - CLICK ME

Please note . . pre booking will close on Wed the 2nd of March ....No pre booking will be accepted after this time.

If you have any queries feel free to ( PM ME ) or any of the Committee Members.

Cheers
Brad.

Looking forward to seeing you again Craig smile.gif
We're hoping that all goes well with the BBQ and we can have a snag or two and a chat before the auction. Please keep in mind that the hall is not licensed and you cannot drink alcohol in there or outside (street drinking).

Hopefully more people can make it on a saturday, I think the advantages are that we can start earlier and also don't have to worry about working the next day (unless you work at an LFS of course biggrin.gif )
It should all be a bit more relaxed and social.

Hope to see you there!

I will be there for sure, also intend to bring some nice fish smile.gif

A Saturday auction is something that many have asked for. We have delivered as promised, hope it will be a success and open the door for future Saurday events.
