Picked up this 5x3 the other day for a steal - put an LED light on it and its completing its cycle now - i put a couple of archers a couple of monos and a scat in there on the weekend just so that i can redo their tank soon (im planning to redo all of my tanks over the next few weeks)

then i will need to track down a couple of rays and some bass :)

im not sure why my camera decided to make the pics so blue - it definitely doesn't look like that to the naked eye

Hi voodoo,

nice looking scat in the corner, so where dd you get him from and how much roughly do they go for?

Have just purchased a 6 foot and already have some nice size elec yellows and blue dolphins so hoping I can somehow get them in together.....

sorry man i just saw this - i got mine from pet magic in cannington - think he was $30

did a rescape and am rethinking what is going to go in this tank - moving away from bass and thinking more about geophagus in there with the rays. also thinking maybe a couple of flagtails and some silver dollars (or red hooks or something similar) with the idea of making it pretty much amazon based. so if anyone has anything that they think i may be into let me know.

i am probably going to pain the back and sides black as well in the next couple of weeks

Well if you ever want to sell it, let me know.

The ray and the geo's will look amazing. A bit different to the usual pbass and motoro setup. Not that theres anything wrong with bass and motoro setups.

Cant wait to see how this tank comes along.

rescaped a couple of weeks ago so open up the floor for rays - had a ray die randomly as well.

picked up some green horse faces off shep (thanks mate) and some red tail chalceus from aquotix

and im fish sitting another flagtail for jules to try and get some more size on it so his bass wont try to destroy it

would love to get some uaru for this tank :D

planning on playing with some driftwood this weekend - going to try suspend a couple of big pieces hanging down from the top to the middle level so that the bottom is completley free of wood (maybe some river rocks on the bottom) to maximise  space at the bottom of the tank for my ray

Awesome tank man, sucks to hear about your ray passing on tho, wonder what happened there? Also just wondering what you use to filter this beast of a tank?
