Not sure if this is the right place for this but thought that you all might like to know that Aquarium City in Inglewood/Maylands is shutting down. randomly headed in today and they are flogging off all of their old equipment super cheap. apparently next friday is their last day. might be worth a look if you are looking for a bargain.

It is a shame they are shutting down. I did enjoy the few times I went in there

They sold me my first Cichlids that got me into this. Still have some of them... including an "African Butterfly Cichlid" that we named 'Madam', who turned out to be a Brasiliensis.
Sorry to see them go.

Don't bother going...they are closed. There were staff inside but they will not open the doors for you. I went there today with some mates and there was a sign that said that it is now "closed to the public. Only open to suppliers collecting their stocks"....

They posted the fb message after I had already gone there at 9.30am... And yes, although they posted on gumtree that they were open, they were actually closed yesterday too for "stock collection". Please see the comment by Adam Booth on fb. Might be best to call ahead before going otherwise you may be wasting your time and fuel.

Got my first tank from them many many years ago (about 10), a 72x14x18, raw pine open stand and hood with an aqua one cannister... perfect for your first marine set up haha

I WANT TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU TO GAVIN AND THE TEAM AT AQUARIUM CITY FOR HELPING ME WITH THE ISSUES I HAD WITH FISH.
I ENJOYED YOUR COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SEVICE. I’D ALSO LIKE TO THANK GAVIN FOR GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN HIS STORE FOR ONE DAY.
I ENJOYED PASTING BY AQUARIUM CITY AND BUYING SOME REALLY NICE IMPORTED GUPPIES FROM YOU GUYS.
I WILL MISS YOUR STORE VERY MUCH.
ALL THE BEST GAVIN FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR.
YOUR FRIEND
GERARD
