As soon as the egg sack is 90% absorbed by the fish, I move them from the tumbler to a fry saver that I can stick to the glass, then when they reach 2cm+ I will chuck them in with their other siblings!

Williamsi blue lips finally have a mouthful and my pair of Topaz cichlids (septemfasciatus) look like they have spawned at the back of the tank. Can't really see eggs as they look like they're fanning eggs on a rock face facing away from the front of the tank - but the behaviour and coloration suggests they've spawned.

Cynotilapia sp. hara  :D :D
One female spat out about 20 fry yesterday and I spotted another female that wasn't holding last night at feeding time with a mouthful this afternoon. Looks like busy times ahead with these guys!

They are extremely hard to get good photos of, especially with a phone, but here's the best one I managed to get of the alpha. He's about 13cm.

My Apistogramma macmasteri have about 20 free swimming fry, my colony has dwindled to 2 adults due to old age and I thought the parents were too old to spawn.

The boucourti are doing well there are about 130 of them at 4 cm I'll start selling them at 5 cm.

I kept 2 of the Chalinachromis ndobhoi the rest went over East.

What the heck,

Had my female Princess Cichlid in a small tank with her first lot of fry, they fry have grown to about 2-3cms long over the last few months.

I look in the tank today and bugger me a new lot of fry swimming around.

There must be a very potent young male in that fry tank and then I thought, yuck she just bred with her direct offspring, what do I do with this fry?

Cheers

Princess cichlids will spawn again without eating or chasing away the last brood. Leave them in the tank together and watch how they do it ;)
