Hey guys have a 50L litre tank sitting here and was wondering what a good shell dweller would be to breed in there obviously if the tanks big enough?

Any info would be great :)

Cheers, Ethan

Multis are awesome but very easy, Lamprologus occelatus have much more personality and are a bit more of a challenge. Highly recommend them. All of the sub species are cool but if you can get hold of some nice golds they are a very pretty little fish.

Last ones I saw were at aquotix but you may be able to find some privately or ask them to source you some.

Have you seen Lamprologus Caudopunctatus Kapampa?
They are very cute and actually not too easy to breed ad N. multifasciatus or N. similis!

They are also a bit more aggressive than the other two, so after that the couple is formed you should remove the rest or they will get killed :)

Yeh was looking at the N.Similis I actually really like them. Wouldn't mind getting a pair of them to breed

Yeah do it. Good motivation to get the fish once you see a tank set up with no fish

I would say get 4 or so shells and a few rocks. Some fine sand as well so the fish can hide the shell with only the entrance showing. Be creative and make it look natural
