Hi all,

Finally got myself a rosenbergii! :D

Been wanting one for a while now.   Unfortunately his claw fell off during transit but it will grow back.

He's a bit dark having only got him this morning but he'll look awesome in no time :)

Here you can see him cleaning the inside of his shell.

Cheers

Ronny.

Adjusted the camera setting so the video is a bit brighter and zoomed in for a close up :)

Great footage mate!

Cheers :)

This guy moulted today.   Amazingly, he has regrown a claw and a limb in one moult!

Not sure where they came from, I'm assuming they grow inside and come out with the moult but it's bizarre to see it with two missing limbs one day, then the next he has them all lol.

Pretty cool! Pretty sure they just grow them back but they stay soft and are just stuffed inside the carapace until they shed it, then it hardens and its full steam ahead!

Weird thing is, he had a little version of a claw that I could see growing from where the old one broke off.  I was surprised to see it had turned into an actual claw thats almost as big as his other claw in one moult.

For those wondering just how big they are, this is the moult from the pic :)

Looking like a boss with two claws as opposed to one haha!
