I am building a pond in the yard and am looking to introduce some catfish or loaches to keep the organic material down (leaves, plant material, uneaten food, etc). The pond will also include native fish like fire tailed gudgeons and rainbows.

Oh!?! I should mention I live in Brisbane...

Anyone have any advice on which catfish / loaches I should use????

Thanks,

Craig

Yes, Alan lives around your way and does have outdoor pond where he keeps/breeds corydora. But I'm not certain if they're compatible with gudgeons and rainbows.

However I'm not sure what he does with them during the winter months.

Thomas.
