ha! substitute mentions of fish for cars/car parts in that sentence and it would have been immediately obvious that you were the same mr green from psc long ago tongue.gif

btw, beautiful fish hey.. congrats on getting ahold of them, you'll have to post up some pics once they're all settled in...

lol Steve

You always get the rare ones biggrin.gif, hopefully they will spawn successfully for you, and when they are ready for sale, might even come and help you pull apart the rock works wink.gif Just to watch the buyer's face of getting the fish

thanks guys im stoked , i cant believe i got the call from two different dudes on the same day having both E.sp "kilesa" and E.melanogenys , it wasnt till i put down the phone did i relize that i'd spent over $1500.

having owned these type of fish before , price goes out the window. same with the B.tricoti , it just doesnt matter , trying to source these things are almost impossible.

spoke to the dude with the kilesa today and he was saying a couple are 6cm and starting to colour up....... so i cant seeing it being to long till them spawn , but like all my fish i'll leave em alone the first 3 times then i'll start catching the girls.

if there anything like the melo's , fry will be avalible xmas

in saying that though i did succesfully lose 9 of my 10 X.ochrogeny's "ndole bay" which im absoluely spewing and devasted but that is the challange of some of these delicate tangs.

for those of you keen on them , trust me , it will be worth the wait.

will post some pics in the coming weeks

Cheers
Steve Green

Which is why you should really share them so there is a backup colony somewhere biggrin.gif

When someone normally advertises EOI doesn't it mean that they want to know if anyones interested to buy, and if a person is interested they make an offer and if it sounds good to the seller they go for it...or is EOI just a teaser ad of somekind? huh.gif wink.gif

I got some Enantiopus melanogenys (not sure the variant) from Veba's a few years ago. Bred like rabbits but only briefly showed some colour at breeding time. Otherwise looked like a tank full of sand whiting. How do you intend making yours colour up? Thinking of getting some more again
