Hey everyone semi~long time stalker of the forum and finally decided to join!

...anyways the names clownz!! im 17, I have been keeping fish for the last 2 years but majorly in the last year and a half. I am currently obsessed with the asian theme fish tanks and LOVE clown loaches which are 1+1/2 years , LOVE my 1 year old 20+ cm BGK. Although I don't have major amounts of experience I do hope I will be able to contribute to this extremely well put together forum with ALLOT of already helpful contributors!!

My first tank is a 750l river tank 6 x 1'8 x 2'6 asian theme with some nice pieces of drift wood... the tank has;

4 Clowns

2 Ballas

3 Clown barbs

1 Moss Barb

running a FX5

Attached File  IMAG0774.jpg   147.2KB   0 downloads

My second tank is a 200l 4ft with a BJK and a convict running a Classic 2213 + a Pickup

My third tank is a 90l (Aqua one AR620) with a breeding pair of convicts

Thanx 4 ur time!! :D I will upload more photos If there is interest... but each file is ~ 1.5mb so... indiviual photos per post

I'm really liking your 750L scape.
Mind posting a 'full tank shot' when/if you can be bothered?

Cheers

Very cool tank, man.
Good to see that I'm not the only one on here with a bedroom full of aquariums.
Envious of the FX5 also.

Cheers

Yea, thanx JackMack :D , I like only the best for my fish... understocked and with tons of filtration... even if I am a minimum wage working teen buying with 3 weeks worth of work a single filter :Rofl_3f: ... I am planning also for the tank another (custom) 9000 l/h pressure filter with about 100 litres of capacity, have the parts, all i need is the time! the loaches will love extra water movement as-well!

I get what you mean, everyone's buying their first car and I'm still spending all of my cash on aquariums/maintenance/equipment.
You should get some siamese flying foxes for the big tank and grow them out, they look awesome when they're bigger.

Cheers

Cheers TexasMasacre  :P + I will look into the flying foxes for the 750l when the tank is cured of the ich  :( I was also thinking of something (asian fish) large for the tank as well but haven't decided yet, any suggestions?

I would personally get something with a bit of colour, a RTGG juvenile would look awesome in that tank but I'm not sure how long it'd be before they'd outgrow the tank. (Not too mention the price tag)
Got any plans for your other tanks?

Cheers

I have always wanted one like the one at Morely Aquariums!! Even if its not a red tail, and as ugly as... a Giant Gourami... yea, + its pretty hard to find, let alone buy one of these buties b4 they reach over 300+ dollars. I did find the minimum specifications on one site specifically state no smaller than 750 litres... but i don't want to stress the fish at all. Thanx for your reply though any other sugestions would be gr8ly appreciated!!

Yeah I think $300 is pretty average as a starting price but I may be mistaken.
If you're willing to break your asian theme there are some amazing cat fish/tank busters out there.
Give the tank buster forum a browse.

Cheers

Just thought I'd leave this here:
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=KWHSbu6kLwk.

I reckon some big and chubby Raphael catfish would look cool, maybe even some birchir.
Perhaps some large plecos?

Well... Unfortunately my tank isn't even a 100th of one of those tanks :( . The rays look interesting though  :D The bichirs seem great (they are like bigger axolotls ), The raphaels look a bit shy... I was thinking a while ago about a large pleco, but have no idea where to get one all i can find are BN be cool if I could get a fish w/ personality like a fire eel? where do you I could get one?

cheers!!
