Hi all.

Has anybody daisy chained FX5's?

I have done this previously with Eheim 2260 and worked a treat but the 2260's dont have a built-in pump. I three ran 2260's  with a single pump in a mechanical-mechanical-bio config.

Id like to do this with the FX5's but i dont know how this would work with them.

Anyone with experience in this?

Thanks

It can be done, there are builds on MFK forum employing the technique.

You would want extra oxygenation in aquarium, as the water returning from the canisters will likely be totally stripped of oxygen.

Would it be easier and better results using a sump? Even though Im a huge fan of the FX5 (much better than fx6)
