In the past, sometimes I have seen the backrowpoker URL pop up in the status bar when I sent a PM. I just did a check of our site and it seems to be ok.
If anyone else sees the backrowpoker warning or URL when loading stuff, please let us know.

Rovik, the free antivirus by Microsoft is actually very good, just google it.

Being a Hobby PC builder I would prefer just to format and re-install windows....But ill give it ago.
I have just installed Microsoft security essentials and will download Malwarebytes, as I have use it in the past with positive results.

I used to partition my hard drive: one for work and games, the other for surfing the net.
Ill let you know it the scans come up with anything..

Thanks Daz

TDSSKiller is another good one for finding/removing rootkits. Takes less 30secs to do a scan.

A full scan of the computer with both MSE and Malwarebytes reveals nothing.. unsure.gif

Ps: Daz I have just tried TDSSKiller, but to no avail.

Could it be a problem with the Website itself ?

Yes I too unfortunately got the same message when I went to log on. sad.gif

I typed in my user name and password (which mind you usually logs me in automatically) and got the screen.

I pressed the "Go back" (or something like that) and it went back to the PCS screen and I was logged in.

Guys, can you please try and replicate this using a different browser, so if you're using Chrome please give it a go in IE or Firefox etc.
We need to figure out if this is browser related. As it doesn't happen for everyone it is unlikely to be an issue with the forum software, we need to narrow this down.

I'm using Firefox 9.0.1 and I don't get any redirects or mentions of backrowpoker.

Please post the browser version you are using too, maybe it only happens in older versions.

Can all the "Chromies" please re-test. If you still get the warning clear your cache/browsing history and re-try.
