Yeah, love my dogs. We're lucky to have them, both were from the pound are such great dogs.
Roxy was free and has the best temperment I've seen in a dog and Connors the happiest thing on four legs, he's still a puppy lol.

I have one pure staffy ( definatly a momma's boy, also my profile pic), and one staffy cross rescued four years ago by a guy who liked to beat her and tie things around her neck. They are both wonderful dogs.

It's terrible how such beautiful animals get treated like that.
Connor wasn't that unfortunate, his mum was rescued from the pound and they didn't know she was pregnant then she had 9 puppies.
As for Roxy she kept gettin picked up by the pound in the streets then a nice lady bought her, circumstances changed and she could no longer look after her so she gave her to us for free biggrin.gif
Probably gonna sart a post war, but I think staffies are the best tongue.gif

People who treat animals like that are less than humans themselves, you are how you treat others, it's a reflection of your heart.

My new puppy Cleo, who is a deaf, long-sighted pure bred English Staffy. Shes a cutie but boy ho boy does she love chewing. Toes, fingers, hair, nose, ears, remote controls and christmas trees are all fair game to her.

(ones when she had the snip)

We are also looking after my brothers Staffy, shes old and got chronic arthritis, but I don't have a photo of her. She would possibly be the smelliest dog you have ever met, literally an hour after washing her she stinks.

By any chance did you get Chloe from a site called gumtree?
there was one just like her a while ago.

Nope straight off a breeder, who didn't tell us or didn't know that she had the problems, and we paid full price. Not that it matters now coz shes just like a normal pup now, cept for the chronic chewing.

Calling her is a problem as she can't hear anything. Usually she doesn't really go a long distance away from me, or my dad when walking, but best way is to either just stop until she realises you've stopped, or wave like a lunatic until you get her attention. There's obviously not easy way to do it sad.gif

As for patience, I'm not sure, maybe I'm just too much of a sook rolleyes.gif

Hey sleepycod,

STD probably means something different to you than it does to me. If not its great that you can look at the bright side of life and think of them as pets!

(sorry - couldn't resist)
